3 Light & Fresh Mocktails We’re Serving Right Now
· Bar Divas of Austin
Not every great drink at an event needs alcohol.
We’re seeing more clients ask us for mocktail options, and I think that’s a good thing. Whether someone doesn't drink, is taking the night off, is the designated driver, or simply wants something lighter, they should still be able to walk up to the bar and get something that feels like an actual drink—not an afterthought.
A good mocktail should still look great, taste great, and feel like it belongs at the party.
For light and fresh events, these are three combinations we're working with clients on right now.
Cucumber Mint Lime Spritz
This one is extremely clean and refreshing.
- Fresh cucumber
- Fresh mint
- Lime juice
- Simple syrup
- Sparkling water
- Fresh lime or cucumber garnish
The cucumber keeps everything crisp, while the mint and lime give it enough flavor that it doesn't just taste like flavored water.
This is a great option for outdoor events, weddings, showers, daytime parties, and Texas events where people want something cold and refreshing.
Strawberry Lime Fizz
This gives you a little more fruit without becoming overly sweet.
- Fresh strawberries
- Lime juice
- Fresh mint
- Simple syrup
- Sparkling water
- Strawberry or lime garnish
Fresh strawberries bring the color and natural sweetness, while the lime keeps the drink bright.
It also photographs really well, which matters when you're creating a signature drink for a wedding, birthday, shower, or branded event.
Pineapple Mint Spritz
If you want something slightly more tropical while still keeping the drink light, this is an easy one.
- Pineapple juice
- Fresh lime juice
- Fresh mint
- Simple syrup as needed
- Sparkling water
- Lime, mint, or pineapple garnish
The pineapple provides plenty of flavor, but finishing it with sparkling water keeps it from becoming too heavy or sugary.
It's simple, refreshing, and easy for guests to drink throughout an event.
Why We Like These Three
One of the practical advantages is that these drinks share several ingredients—lime, mint, simple syrup, sparkling water, and fresh garnishes.
That means we can create multiple mocktail choices without turning your shopping list into a completely separate bar inventory.
More importantly, your guests have options.
That's really the point.
If you're going to offer mocktails, they should receive the same thought and presentation as everything else being served from the bar.
